After reading, ”Journey to Praxis: Supporting Youth Activism” by Dr. Clemons, the text is influenced by the idea that young people have the ability to contest the laws and rules that govern their lives.
Clemons, text addresses the research question by employing a range of qualitative research methods to gather the following information: individual interviews with youth workers, observations of youth workers within the framework of their youth organizations and planned public community engagements, and organizational artifacts like brochures and information from websites.
In this study a critical ideology can be noted as the case studies reveal three distinct approaches and support methods used by youth in their pursuit of social justice activism.
